Match Made in HEL
Arto Saari kills it behind the lens, always documenting skateboarding in unique and creative ways. For his new project, Match Made in HEL, seven skaters from around the world were invited to skate Helsinki Airport for two days, having access to spots unimaginable before. The result is incredible, it's pretty insane to see these dream spots being skated without the hassle of security or police.
The skating, filming, and documentary aspects of the project are all rad, but I think the best part of the video is the support these guys were getting from the Helsinki Airport. Considering street skating isn't exactly the most praised activity these days, it's really nice to see a little genuine support from companies outside of skateboarding. Take a look at the videos below then go check out more of Arto's work on his site and his tumblr.
