Collectively, South Korea's been killing it recently. Everyday it seems as there's another sick brand, store or artist dropping into our inbox. Yoong Jang is a 22 year old photographer from Seoul who mainly shoots dreamy, pastel portraits on film.
When asked about inspirations Jang replied about how attraction, conversation and friendship drives their creativity. "It's hard to explain the 'attractive' thing, there's no clear reason when I'm fascinated by somebody's charms. When I take a photo, we chat a lot, I think conversation is a key point of being a friend with strangers. We find our common thing and feel closer. I always focus on 'feelings' between me and others."
Though Jang's photos are filled with personality and emotion, the models are playfully disengaged and introspective. They're attractive, but they don't care and it only makes us like them more.
